My plans for building my home are to begin with one Conex Box. I will be building out the inside at a temporary location and eventually moving the container to a permanent location. To maintain the structural integrity of the container until after it is moved to it’s final location I do not want to do any cutting into the container. For this reason I plan to build a temporary inner door just inside the existing steel doors.

I found this image from sfslim on Flickr today that shows exactly what I plan for the temporary inner door. After moving the container to it’s permanent location I will remove the steel doors and move the inner door to the edge of the container.
